I chose to document a recent occasion, Pink Day at my daughter's school - where everyone dresses up in all pink, all for a great cause!
So here's my layout, "Pink Day"...
This was a great excuse to go pink crazy! It was so much fun! I've used Dylusions spy inks with a stencil onto white cardstock firstly, then I removed the stencil for the concentrated "drippy part" - which is just like the sketch!
I used bubble wrap to stamp black paint on the cardstock here and there for a little bit of interest and I outlined around the solid unmasked Dylusions features with a black pen.
I've got a couple of goodies from my soon-to-be-opened store, "by Chantal Vandenberg"...
A "Princess Sweet Pop"! :) And there's some "Bow Pins" on the top left of the layout too. :)
I've also got some 2Crafty Chevron Bits here... love the various sizes!
And one more closie - here you can see my funky writing! Lol!
Now here's the sketch that my layout is based on...
Isn't it cool? So you can see that I actually followed this very closely, right down to the background!
